From Nice
The must-visits of the Côte d’Azur
In the centre of Nice, between the sea, the old town and the station, you have chosen the perfect place to explore the city, at the foot of the Notre-Dame Basilica.
There’s such a wide range of things to see and do in Nice. You’re at the very heart of the city, which itself is the very heart of the Côte d’Azur. Thanks to the train, Cannes and Monaco are almost as close as the of Avenue Jean Médecin, the major tree-lined shopping street that heads straight towards the sea and the Jardin Albert 1er. Then there are the beaches of the Baie des Anges, including Centenaire, Beau-Rivage, Opéra, Ponchettes and Castel. Look to your left at the colourful façades of the winding streets of Old Nice at the foot of the castle. Then on the right, head down the 7 km of the Promenade des Anglais, which has never lost any of its lustre. The Belle Époque architecture and the local history collections at the Musée Masséna remain the Promenade’s main attractions, as well as being a hot spot for jogging and roller skating.
Thus, whether on foot or via the tram close to our hotel, you will see many of the great things the city has to offer. Whether you’re with us for leisure or work, all the best things to see and do in Nice are nearby or easy to get to. If you’re here on business rather than a shopping expedition, you’ll be pleased to know that the Palais des Congrès et des Expositions Nice Acropolis is within easy reach.
