You have chosen the ideal location to discover the city of Nice and the French Riviera. From the SNCF train station, just 3 minutes away, you can catch a train to the picturesque surrounding towns of Monaco, Èze and Cannes.
Take the Avenue Jean Médecin (and do some window-shopping), which leads straight down to the sea, to the Albert the 1st garden and the Promenade des Anglais. You'll be a 15-minute walk from the beaches.
By tram or on foot, Vieux-Nice (the old town) and the restaurants and bars of the Cours Saleya are within easy reach.

Tram 2 (direction Port Lympia) exit at Jean Médecin: 30 min - €10 if bought at the airport; €1.70 otherwise.
Walk up Avenue Jean Médecin for 400 m - 5 minutes on foot

From the east : Exit 55 towards Nice Centre

ALPES-MARITIMES MARATHON 2024: READY FOR THE START!
As every year since 2008, the Alpes-Maritimes Marathon between Nice and Cannes brings together runners from all over the world. More than 175,000 athletes from 70 nations have participated in this prestigious event.
The marathon will start on November 3rd at 8 AM at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, and finish on the Cannes Croisette, in front of the Hotel Martinez.
