  • What are the arrival and departure times ?

    Arrivals are from 3pm with no time limit.  If you arrive before that, either leave your luggage free of charge at reception or request an Early Check-In (subject to availability and an additional charge).

    Departures are until 11amWould you like to enjoy your room for longer ? Then request a Late Check-Out (subject to availability and an additional charge).

  • Is reception open 24 hours a day ?

    Reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Do you have luggage storage ?

    We can store your luggage free of charge after your check-out until the evening the day of your departure.

    You can also leave it with us in the morning until your room is available.

    On request, we can also store your parcels if you wish to send a package before or during your stay.

  • Can I take a shower after or before accessing my room?

    Yes, we have a courtesy shower to refresh you before your arrival or after your departure. 


  • Can I smoke in my room ?

    No. All our rooms and suites are non-smoking and have smoke detectors. If you book a category with a balcony, it is possible to smoke there. Smoking is not permitted through the classic windows. 

  • I forgot my shampoo. Do you have any essentials ?

    All our rooms welcome you with Galimard brand products (a famous brand from Grasse, the perfume capital and a UNESCO World Heritage site that we encourage you to visit!), including shampoo and shower gel. Dental kits, shaving kits and feminine hygiene products are available on request from reception.

  • Are your rooms heated/air-conditioned ?

    All our rooms have air conditioning and individual heating.

  • Is there a mini bar in the room ?

    Better than that ! All our rooms are equipped with mini-fridges (colder than the minibars) for storing food products.

    Drinks and snacks are available 24/7 from reception.

  • Can I eat in my room ?

    Yes, you can take your breakfast there at no extra charge. 

    If you would like to order from UberEats, Deliveroo or others... that's allowed. Don't hesitate to ask our reception team for advice :)

  • Do you have rooms with a sea view ?

    No. Some of our rooms have a view of the Basilica of Notre Dame de l'Assomption.

  • Do you have rooms with twin beds ?

    All our double beds can be converted into 2 twin beds by prior arrangement with reception.

  • Do you have family rooms ?

    Our rooms can accommodate from 1 to 4 people. We do not have interconnecting rooms, but will do our utmost to place you as close as possible to the rest of your family or on the same floor. 

  • Can you install a cot / baby bed in my bedroom?

    For your little ones, a baby kit is available on request from reception: cot, booster seat and bathtub.

    This equipment is free for all customers who book directly with us.

  • Do you have bathtubs ?

    Some of our rooms have baths. Please contact us to make a request.

  • I have allergies. Do you have suitable pillows ?

    Make yourself at home at Hôtel du Centre and ask at reception for the pillow of your dreams. Choose from our hypoallergenic pillows, memory foam pillows, bolsters, feather pillows and more.

    What's more, none of our rooms have fitted carpets.


  • Is breakfast included in the room rate ?

    This depends on the fare you chose at the time of booking. It can be added at any time.

    We offer a continental French breakfast which can be enjoyed in our Hug Café room, on the terrace or in your room (at no extra charge).

    An ‘early bird’ option is available to take away : rusks (spread or jam), muesli yoghurt, fresh fruit and organic juice.

  • I have reduced mobility. Do you have PRM rooms ?

    Our small lift cannot accommodate a wheelchair, but works very well for wheeling suitcases and people who prefer not to use the stairs. As a result, we do not have any PRM-approved rooms. 

    Our staff are trained to welcome the visually and hearing impaired ; we also have special equipment : large-digit remote control, illuminated alarm clock, support bar in the bathrooms of some rooms. Contact reception in advance for more information. 

  • Do you accept pets ?

    Our friends the cats and the dogs (-10kg) are welcome for a supplement of 10€ per night. However, we will require a €150 deposit as security, which will be refunded on departure after the inspection.

    Within the establishment, please ensure that you keep your pet on a lead or in a carrier.

    Under no circumstances may your pets be left unattended in your room.

    If damage is caused by the actions of your pets, the hotel may charge for additional services and repairs.

    We also rely on you to prevent your pets from making excessive noise, being disruptive or aggressive towards other guests.

    Pet bowls are available free of charge on request. 

  • What methods of payment can I use ?

    We accept the following methods of payment :

    Cash (no denomination over €100)
    Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro)
    Paper and electronic holiday vouchers (for direct bookings only)
    We do not accept bank cheques.

  • How much is the tourist tax?

    The city tax is €1.07 per adult per day.

  • Is it possible to pay on premise ?

    Yes, we will pre-authorise your credit card to guarantee your booking. Final payment for the booking is made on site.

    In the case of non-refundable bookings, we debit the amount directly while conferming the booking. 


  • How to get here from the airport ?

    Many possibilities :

    By Tram 2 (heading to Port Lympia) exit at Jean Médecin (30 min journey) then walk up Avenue Jean Médecin for 400 m (5 min walk).
    There is an additional charge at the airport terminal : a round-trip tram ticket costs €10 + €2 deposit for the rechargeable card, i.e. €12...
    By downloading the Ligne d'Azur Tickets mobile application : load tickets at the standard fare (€1.70)
    The round-trip journey will therefore cost you 2 x 1.70 = €3.4 per person (+€2 deposit for rechargeable card depending on your mobile device).
    For Android users : the ticket can be loaded directly onto the phone (no deposit payment for the rechargeable card)
    Gain : 12 - (2 x 1.70) = €8.6
    For Appple users: the ticket can be loaded onto the card via the phone (€2 deposit for the reloadable card)
    Gain : 12 - (2 x 1.70) - 2 = €6.6

    By shuttle
    Travel with our trusted drivers who will follow your flight and wait for you at the terminal with a name sign. You can book this service in advance at reception. You'll enjoy an idyllic journey to the hotel, along the Promenade des Anglais overlooking the Baie des Anges.

    By taxi
    Handy last-minute option, remember to check that you are not being charged for any extra options and to note the vehicle registration number. 

    By electric bike :
    Book easily via the Uber app (between €3 and €6 depending on your speed).

  • Can I book a shuttle/transfer from the airport ?

    Sure ! Reservations can be made in advance through our reception team; a private driver will be waiting for you in front of your terminal with a name sign.

  • How do I get to the airport from the train station ?

    Easy peasy ! Walk down Avenue Jean Médecin for 300 m - 3 min on foot.

  • How do I get there by car ?

    From the East : Exit 55 towards Nice Centre

    From the West : Exit 50 Promenade des Anglais (Nice Centre) and follow signs for Gare SNCF.

    We have a partnership with Parking Q-Park Notre Dame located 150m away (2 min walk). 

  • Do you have a car park ?

    We do not have a private car park. Our partner car park Q-Park Notre Dame is located at 28 rue Notre Dame, 150m away (2 min walk from the hotel).

    • 24h = 23€ instead of 42€ : buy ticket at reception
    • 12h = 16€

    How does it work ?

    Enter the car park and take a standard ticket. Before collecting your car on the day of departure, go to reception to collect your exit ticket.

    For other parking recommendations that are cheaper but further away, please contact our reception.

  • Is there a drop-off point in front of the hotel ?

    No. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street. If you're not too far away, we advise you to do à quick stop in rue Notre Dame to drop off your luggage or to park directly in our partner car park Q-Park Notre Dame.

  • Do you have 2-wheel parking?

    There are several on-street motorcycle or bicycle parks in the vicinity of the hotel.

  • Where can I find a charging point for my electric car?

    The nearest are :

    • 18 avenue Notre Dame 
    • 28 avenue du Maréchal Foch
    • 6 avenue Georges Clemenceau
    • 27 boulevard Raimbaldi


  • Can you book a restaurant for me ?

    Our team will be delighted to share its best addresses. We can make reservations for you. Please note, however, that it's a good idea to book well in advance, as everything fills up quickly, especially in high season ! 

  • Can you book a guided tour for me ?

    Our team will be delighted to book one of our partner tours. Please note, however, that it's a good idea to book well in advance, as all our tours fill up quickly, especially in high season! 

  • Can I order food in my room ?

    Yes, if you want to order from UberEats, Deliveroo or others, you can. Don't hesitate to ask our reception team for advice on the best delivery addresses in Nice.

  • Can you help me surprise my other half when she arrives in the bedroom ?

    With pleasure! We offer in-room stagings for birthdays, romantic receptions for lovers, and Niçois receptions for those who want to be immersed in the atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Just contact us!

  • A towel takes up too much space in my suitcase. Can you lend one for the beach ?

    Yes, we rent towels for €6 each. You can supplement this rental with a mattress or a full beach pack. 


  • AMMI ? Why this name ?

    Here we welcome you like an AMMI (a friend) because we love you very mmuch !

  • What is HUG ?

    HUG is our coffee shop on the ground floor of the hotel.

    It has a terrace overlooking Notre Dame Basilica. This is where hotel guests can have breakfast. You can also indulge all day long with its range of speciality drinks, and plenty of healthy, gourmet products, often organic, sometimes gluten-free or vegan... a menu of sweet and savoury pastries and hot and cold speciality drinks made by our expert baristas.

    (Its name is also a nod to one of our founders, Hügues)

  • Can I get a discount within the group ?

    All our hotel guests benefit from a -10% discount at the HUG Café, our coffee shop located 2 rue de Suisse in the Jean Médecin neighbourhood. 

    We reward the loyalty of our customers by offering a discount from the 2nd stay, as well as other privileges.

    -12% discount for our returning customers and their friends and family to whom they recommend us !

  • How are you contributing to sustainable development ?

    We loooove Nice and the Côte d'Azur, so we want to preserve them for as long as possible.

    We provide reusable water bottles and tote bags.

    We use eco-responsible washing powder.

    Our welcome and breakfast products are sourced locally.

    All our lighting is LED. Our electrical equipment is low consumption.

    All our pipes are fitted with aerators to reduce water consumption.

    We promote thermal efficiency by double-glazing windows and insulating walls, floors and ceilings.
